I'm sure you've already heard about it. There was a tiger that escaped from it's enclosure at the San Francisco zoo. She killed one visitor and mauled two others who survived. The police were called, the tiger was shot and killed. Peace was restored.
WHAT??? Okay, so we take wild PREDATORS and lock them up. If they escape and kill, we kill them. Um ... tigers hunt. It's what they do. I'd also be willing to bet that SCARED tigers who are wandering around in unfamiliar territory (outside her enclosure ...) might go crazy and kill a LOT. So, we use that as justification to kill her.
Tigers are endangered people! Humans are not. Yes, it's sad that someone got killed, but there is no doubt in my mind that it is 100% the fault of the San Francisco Zoo that this even happened. The tiger should have been drugged, not killed. There are still 7 billion people on the planet and only 3000 tigers left in the wild. Sounds like only one can afford to lose some of it's viable members.

Don We Now Our Sun Glasses
There is a beacon in the night 'round these parts. It's sucking up more than it's fair share of energy ... enough to provide power to an entire third world nation ...
I mean, seriously folks ... WHY would anyone think this is okay? Yes, I know the picture is blurry, but it was difficult to remain steady under the spot light like that!
This is one of the problems with our world ...

Presumptuous Much?
So, I was at work the other day and told one of my customers to "have a nice day." He, in turn, told me "Merry Christmas" ... um ... what?!?! It wasn't even December yet ... and there are several holidays this time of year. If all the bloody Xians out there can get their panties in a wad when others say "Happy Holidays" because they believe "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" ... well, then I can get pissed when someone assumes I celebrate the birth of a god (little "g") in whose name wars have been waged throughout history and innocent people slaughtered.
